I was wandering what everyone's take was on the Animal Crossing/GBA connection. For those of you who do not know about this Gamecube game, go to www.ign.com and then to the Gamecube section and read the preview. I think it is pretty cool how you can play on a special island with your character on the GBA without any game in it. The ability to play classic games on the GBA is icing on the cake. This game is starting to look really cool.

i ,as many people can tell by my other posts, am very excited about animal crossing i would have bought it without the GBA connection but now thats just one more reason to get it. ithink this GBA mode will add a new dimension to gameplay also soon they will release the E-card and E-card reader for the GBA and special Animal crossing cards are coming out for it these cards should get you new items and things like that

Wow, This game looks really good. The all of the extra features look great! My family doesn't ever play video games, except once when my sister got hooked on Harvest Moon for like 3 days. I think this game will be "Fun For The Whole Family". There is one of the features i dont quite understand:
Up to four players -- friends, family, or both -- can exist in the world you create
Does that mean you can have 4 save files or what? Its Probably really Straight Forward but i am tired right now.
If you still have doubts about this game, I leave you with this:
Why Wouldn't you want to go around chopping down trees? Thats what we do here in Canada. Yup! Aaaall day long. Just where our striped shirts and cut down trees yup! All the sterotypes are true, yup yup!

Will it have months or seasons? If it has seasons it will be hard for it to match it perfectly.

Yes, it will. What will be so difficult about the seasons? Well, does winter start on the same day every year. Oh wait, i guess it wouldn't have to be snowing outside, they could just use the "First day of Winter" thing on the Calander. Never mind, stupid question.

I remember reading that AC will keep you up for months. This game is similiar to HM but with way more extra features. Yup Harvest Moon can take forever, especially the playstation one "Back to Nature." When there are so many things to do,(like FF7) people do spend a lot of time on the game.

Is it based on "Life", or do you mostly do things like farming and junk?
