Congratulations, you never have to buy batteries again! ;D Seriously though, if you are worried about the high cost of the SP, think about how much you will save on batteries. Now think about playing in the dark. Definetly worth the $70-$100.

I work at Toys "R" Us so I get a 10% discount...
I know 10% sucks for a discount; but, at the very least, it covers Sales Tax and 3% of the price.
About the back-light, it's very good. I was playing it in a very dimly-lit movie theater before the show and had no problems seeing the game.
I personally think it's worth the money.

I personally think it's worth the money. thats still pretty good though, i hate sales tax! maybe ill move to Alaska  i dont understand what makes the SP so good i mean it looks nice and it has rechargeable batteries but is there anything else thats improved from the GBA? |

Aren't those good enough? Plus there's the backlight. I like how you don't have to hunt for batteries again and how it's rechargeable... and the SIZE.

I got the SP a few days after it came out, and all the people I know I tell them to get an SP, they say "I dont need one, i already got a GBA" then a few weeks later look whose got an SP. See, you will doubt and question how good it really is until you actually get it.
All I can say is it is worth EVERY penny.

changing from PS2 to gamecube is a snap...changing to Xbox is a challenge even if its your first console  (thinks of size, number of joy sticks, etc.) |
