Well, it really is a game that varies between people. The story isn't great, but it's very long and hard. The battle system is pretty cool, you can try to make monsters join you, and you can learn spells from 11 classes, and keep those spells one you learn them no matter what class you become. There is an Ancient Cave, where you can go for treasure. There are 60 floors with random maps, enemies, bosses, and treasure. It really is a challenge to get to the bottom. I personally give it a 9/10.

Lunar Legend is a good game, but is greatly inferior to the PSX version of the same game.

I've played Lunar Legend, but haven't beaten it and I can say it's better than Golden Sun, but not as good as TO. Not sure about the PSX version though.

how would you compare it too say tactics ogre or golden sun? I'd say either Lunar game on the PSX is a million times better than GS. Tactics Ogre could probably hold up it's own against it, however.

The battle system in Lunar Legend is turn based and you can't move. I heard the PSX one's a lot better though, but I haven't played it so I can't say.
