I hacked the hard campaign, but the first one i got Ss on most of the missions. The hardest normal campaigns had to be the drake vs sami ones. Those were tough.

We know its possible, but it can be pretty tough to figure out a strat for some missions.

No kidding.
The hardest mission for me, for some reason, on the first Advance Wars was the first fight against Kanoebi (er... something like that, haven't played in a LONG time)
It's the one where he has like three medium tanks on either side of your base and you try to hold him off with barely anything.

I HATE it when I accidentally fire the wrong unit or something and it totally ruins everything and I haven't saved recently. It's damned annoying. And I can't help not doing it because I'm used to moving everything too fast.

AW1 was great and all, but it took me forever to beat it.
I tried AW2 on an e****tor for a few days and just gave up. I decided not to buy it, its a great game but I dont even know anyone near me to play with, and I really don't feel like taking months to beat it all =(.
Tell me though, how long do you think it takes to beat it?
Did you all like it?
Anything about it that might make me reconsider ;D

I'd say buy if you're a big fan of that game. I was expecting more new things from it though. I mean, the only new unit YOU can use is the neotank. The enemy gets all these cannons and lasers and shit. Well, there're new COs too, but that's about it. The gameplay is basically identical to 1 and the campaign missions have a bit more variety. Oh and in the War Room, they have the maps from AW1 in there already unlocked and you can buy more from Hachi.

Oh and back to topic, I'm still stuck on the final battle of the damn hard campaign on AW2!! It pisses me OFF!!!!!

I'm on the final mission in AW2 (normal campaign) but I haven't played it yet. I can already tell I'll need help just by looking at the map though...
