Well, I got this game, and I've got to say: It's pretty good. Not, WOW, I LOVE THIS GAME, but it's not Revelations the Demon Slayer either. The only bad thing is that sometimes, your "Gun del Sol" (A bad translation for Gun of the Sun" will overheat, at critical moments. Also, you HAVE to be in the sunlight for some parts of the game. This is a drawback if you live somewhere (let's say up north, during winter) that doesn't have a lot of sun. Luckily, living in the desert, I have a lot of sun. The gameplay is pretty good, but the gamescript is pretty mediocre. Oh, you're little guide/friend sounds like that one "flamboyant" guy from Iron Chef.
"TAIIIIIKOOOOOOOO!"

Is it that new vampire game like castlevania? I like castlevania. Yup. I like it a lot. I got all 3 GBA ones. And bloodlines, as well as symphony of the night, and probably soem more too. Maybe I'll pick this up, if it's like Castlevania.................

Hm.. I didn't even know this game was out already. Oh about the sunlight, does it count if there's daylight outside but it's cloudy or does it HAVE to be really sunny? Because I can see it won't be sunny for a while here...

I don't think I'll be getting this game since I live in WI and have no sunlight.

I played this game MONTHS ago when I visited Hong Kong, you can get ANYTHING in HK. I've also already played Viewtiful Joe and Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. I would rate Boktai just as TF said, it's a really innovative game, but not like WOW. It's designed aroud a whole "get out of the house" premise to play games, it's not working too great.

I might get Viewtiful Joe too. Heard it's good, but I hope it isn't short and has no replay value.

I think you meant I hope it does have replay value. Oops. Yes, I did. Well, I read about it and it sounds like it does have replay value and you can unlock characters and blah blah blah. I'll probably pick this up since it's only $40 US.

It is a vampire hunting game, but by the looks of the pictures, it looks nothing like a Castlevania game. The light rays thing on it sounds very innovative and cool too![/glow]

So how does this game play? Is it an RPG? It looks weird... I haven't played an Isometric real-time game before for a gba, the only Isometric rpg I've played is Diablo 2

It looked painfully so (isometric, that is) to me. I never liked ol' Hideo Kojima much for whatever reason.

If you are thinking of getting Kingdom Hearts:Chain of Memories you going to have to get used to the isometric view. Ohh and also Boktai Is the one of the best Isometric games I have evr played.

Heh, I feel a little stupid but...
what exactly does an "isometric" game mean??
I think I already know but probably don't know the exact word....
