I just got Sword of Mana today. I haven't opened it up yet but I was curious who else is getting it/has it. Also post your comments about the game.

Now, I never base my game purchases on game reviews, I usually know a game is gonna be good before I get it, but I read some reviews for this and they were....sub par. They said it wasnt up to Square standards, lacking a good story line, and frankly not that much more than a plain remake of Final Fantasy Adventure. The scores it got werent good at all, so Im going to go against my normal ways and listen to the reviews and not get this game.

I'll get the game and tell you how it is. + you'all have to remember that Brownie Brown wasnt involved in this game so it couldnt of been as great as SOM or seik. 3

Backyard Wrestling got a horrible score, but I love it only because of J and Shaggs. Reviews are for gurls...nuff said... ;D ;D

I have it on my X-mas list, and im really excited to see any new game bearing the Mana title.
I have a question though. This is a remake of Final Fantasy Adventure, correct?
So is it Romancing SaGa or Seiken Densetsu?

[glow=navy,2,300]It is not really a remake of Final Fantasy Adventure. It takes place at the same time (and in the same world) as it but it is not the same game at all. The only thing the same that I've heard of is the first boss that looks like an overgrown cat.[/glow]

So is it Romancing SaGa or Seiken Densetsu? Final fantasy adventure was never part of saga frontiers like the 3 final fantasy ledgends game were. Final Fantasy Adventure has always been seiken densetsu 1 BTW I beat sword of mana yesterday.

Actually Brownie Brown (division of square involved in making Secret of Mana 1 and 2 (SD3)) was involved in making it. When you start the game, Brownie Brown is one of the companies in the beginning credits.

You got the game December 7th and beat it on the 12th... Seems short, very short. THe thing is i didnt even play it every day..... But it also depends on your skill in puzzles and stuff. Im really good at rpgs andd puzzles so it was a breeze.
