I quit using Guy. Raven is such a bigger beatstick anyway. Guy is to vunerable to dying to be used in combat later in the game. i like raven better too. guy doesnt seem to do enough damage and he's way to weak DEF. wise

And if I'm against Generals, I use Matthew because of his deathblows. And I can't see how everyone compares Guy and Raven. Their roles are completely different. I see how you compare Swordmasters and Assassins, but not Swordmasters and Heros. Besides, (I will be hated forever for this comment) I think Raven sucks and Harken sucks worse. Even their supports suck. Okay, I think I'll stop my rant until someone else posts.

Yes, but as I said also, with how Guy on my file turned out, NO ONE has 0 hit rates against him. It's usually a 1/2 chance he'll get hit. His sucky defense and strength don't help. Sorry, but I think Guy sucks (or at least the one on my file) and Raven is way better for fighting almost anywhere.

Raven is pathetic on my file... All he has is high HP and the rest isnt worth talking about... Guy is ok but he started out great and ended off bad... Oh and Lyn has even worse defense than guy for me, she is supposed to be a leader right?

My Lyn turned out great. She barely ever gets hit, so her defense doesn't matter. Guy on the other hand........ he sucked throughout my whole game.

Lyn is the best of the lord's IMO. giver her a killer bow and she's one of the best archers next to rath.

I'd have to agree with Lyn being the best Lord, even without a bow.

My Lyn was very good and all but Hector was my strongest lord. Most enemies couldn't even break his Defense and his high Stenght and good enought Speed and Skill made him a strong fighter. I would usually give him a good sword that he could use when he class changed but I never really used it and thus never increased his rating at it.

i'd have to agree that hectors the best... He's such a powerhouse that the only thing that can even damage him are enemy bosses.... I personally love lyn's upgraded class because of the bows...

I usually don't remember to use supports, so I guess you could say that.

I still dont get supports, like how do you activate the ability to use supports between characters? And what exactly do they accomplish?

Don't know.... I just know that you can have supports with certain characters after xx turns. For some people, it requires more turns. And if you look in the profiles under the stats, it shows your supports with characters you've talked to. The levels are like A, B, C with A being the highest. Don't really know what it's for... but meh...

Supports in the other Fire Emblems wern't earned they where automatic between couples, siblings or best friends. In the other games and probably also Fire Emblem 7 they increased your critical hit and hit rate when standing next to a character you have support with. In this game you have to earn your supports my having your unit stand next to a unit he can gain it with(you get a complete list that you can fill after beating the game) the thing that is different is that you can only get 5 levels of support per game and since everyone except Pent and Louise can get up to level A (which takes up 3 levels, from nothing to C, C to B, B to A) with each of the character they can gain supports with (most have around 5 or 6 but some have 7) you need to beat the game at least 7 times to get all of the support conversations.
