I was wondering if anybody has this game because I'm stuck and the FAQ's on gamefaqs.com don't help. If you have this game, please help me.

I beat it, I guess I can help you, but I haven't played it for half a year and forgot most of the stuff at the beginning of the game (and maybe more) but I can try.

Okay, thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!
I already went through the time portal, and I am in Gratze for the second time. I'm chasing that guy with the jail key, and I'm supposed to go up an elevator. The one on the right (the correct one to take) is already up, and I can't make it come down. I need help!

I don't remember that part, but I think you either
A) are in the wrong spot
B) missed a switch or something somewhere
C) the left is the correct elevator (maybe the FAQs are wrong), or
D) the left elevator actually leads to the right.
Sorry I can't be of more help.

Well, I sold the game, so it doesn't matter anymore.

Well, I sold the game, so it doesn't matter anymore. Lol. Way to lose faith in a game. I've never sold or traded in anything... except for a Halo promo disc for Xbox, since I don't have one. =P

I've never sold a game either. I <3 Lufia, so I would never sell it especially. It's not the best game of all time, sure (that title belongs to Fire Emblem), but it's a really good game.

I found it sortof sad when FFTA beat Fire Emblem in the gfaqs poll contest thing. Mostly because you just know half the people voted simply because they hadn't played either but saw the words Final Fantasy, and the other half voted because they'd never played Fire Emblem. Anyone who's played both would've definitely picked Fire Emblem ;D

That was really sad. Damned FF fanboys. Anyone who's actually played both would obviously vote for FE, unless they're.............. :X

After I finished FFTA, I had 75 hours on my game. That is a lot. But guess what? I haven't played it since. FE took me 25 hours, but I beat it 7 times in all modes (total, not each).

I have yet to beat FFTA. I stopped playing it after I got some new games. Besides, it's soo repetitive.. I expect the rest of the game to be the same anyway.... so bleh. Maybe when I'm REALLY bored one day I'll try to beat it. Hmm.... maybe I'll bring it when I go on vacation this summer.

FFTA is a really slow game within the first 10 hours, then it starts picking up when you can kill monsters faster. I beat FFTA story wise, but I haven't finished all the missions. I never beat Fire Emblem either, mostly because of new games. Right now i'm on the level with Elliwood where you meet Guy for the first time

FE does get a lot harder, especially in the 20+ chapters. I forgot how many hours I am in FFTA, but it's just been damned boring. I think I'm past the first 10 hours though.
