I've heard that the GBA Tales of Phantasia was a very bad port/remake/whatever of ToP. We didn't get it once again, but that was a bad version anyway. They're probably gonna release it sometimes, either DS or GBE (GameBoy Evolution, right?)
anyways, I bought Dawn of Souls on saturday, I'm going through FF1 first. 35 bucks hurt my poor wallet but I figured 2 games in 1 was worth it. these games are great on a handheld. Playing them on the DS is sweet, the backlight is alot better than the frontlight of the SP.

well, it was 30 bucks, but I got the warranty thing for $2-3, then tax added it up to $35. so I guess I lied, the game was $30 on the shelf.
and I went to an EBGames at a mall at virginia tech. The GameStop right across from it had the game for $35.

Yeah, they do that warranty thing now, and the lady at the EB games i go to gives me this look like im retarded if I dont get the thing...so I always end up getting it even though I dont remember where I put ANY of my recipts for the last 10 games I put the warranty on...

I like the Gamestop near me because they are WAY better than the EB/Circuit City/other electronic stores because my Gamestop had TO: tKoL and there the only ones near me that had Tales of SYmphonia ;D and the kids that go into EB are these sickily nerdy kids that scare me  When did they start putting warranties on $30 GB games, it doesnt make much sense too me, there probably making more money off of the people just buying warranties rather than actually purchasing the game ;D |

Yeah, I got ripped off with that warranty.
One game I got had $5 off (for something) and it said 10% off*, and I ended paying a dollar more than the price (but, you have to factor in tax, so I guess it was an okay deal).
*Hidden sales tactic of getting your hopes up, and then saying that you have to buy a stupid magazine subscription to get a measly 3 bucks off your game*

Warrranty? What does this warranty cover exactly? Sounds like total BS to me but I don't shop there.
