This is quite simply my most difficult task in terms of making something for this forum. I am trying to make an RPG for forum members that will remotely resemble KoL style game play.
The TSE RPG will take place on a Chess Board-style field with two types of sqaures: land and water. Up to 4 people can play in a FFA bash, or TSE members can form 3-man teams to fight against another team (teams within Team Self-Esteem).
I'm working on the mechanics right now. As I complete game mechanics, I will post them here. Please keep in mind though that this is ultra-beta. We will never know how fair or balanced something is until we actually try it out.
Feedback is appreciated as I undertake this mission, for I want to make this RPG the best I can for my fellow TSE members.

These mechanics describe basic stat growth and classes.[/b]
==Player Stats==
As players go up in level, they receive EXP to distribute in skills. They can then distribute EXP into any of the below skills. EXP are then multiplied by Point Multipliers. This determines the final score for a character’s stat. Point Multipliers differ from class to class.
For example: A Soldier distributes 1 EXP to STR stat. His STR is now 2 because the Point Multiplier for STR is 2x. However, the soldier must distribute 2 EXP to raise 1 point in INT—the INT point multiplier for a soldier is 0.5x.
1] Strength (STR): (max:12) Determines damage mods and physical defense
2] Agility (AGI): (max:12) Determines movement rate and dodging mods
3] Intelligence (INT): (max:12) Determines spell damage/effect mods and magic defense
4] Endurance (END): (max:12) Determines Hit-point mods
5] Morale (MRL): -2 to +2. 0 is neutral. Morale affects extra/reduced damage dealt and received.
==Classes==
Characters have two talents each. The first talent is an “Expense Talent”. The character must expend MP in order to use it. The second talent is a “Natural Talent”. It is “activated” at all times during battle.
1] Soldier Base HP = 30 Primary Stat = STR EXP to distribute = 3 Point multipliers - STR = 2 - AGI = 1 - INT = 0.5 - END = 1 Movement Rates (AGI) - At level 1 = 4 sq. - At level 3 = 5 sq. - At level 5 = 6 sq. - At level 7 = 7 sq. - At level 9 = 8 sq. Magic Abilities (INT): Dark and Light Magic - At level 1 = 0 slots - At level 5 = 1 slots - At level 9 = 2 slots Talent - War Cry: Reduces morale of all enemies by 1. - Berserk: Morale fixed at +2 when HP is low.
2] Ninja Base HP = 26 Primary Stat = AGI EXP to distribute = 3 Point multipliers - STR = 1 - AGI = 2 - INT = 1 - END = 1 Movement Rates (AGI) - At level 1 = 5 sq. - At level 3 = 6 sq. - At level 5 = 7 sq. - At level 7 = 8 sq. - At level 9 = 9 sq. Magic Abilities (INT): Dark and Light Magic - At level 1 = 1 slots - At level 5 = 2 slots - At level 9 = 3 slots Talent - Nature’s Wrath: Vines engulf enemies, reducing movement rates by 1. - Water-walk: Receives no defense penalties when standing in water.
3] Cleric Base HP = 20 Primary Stat = INT EXP to distribute = 3 Point multipliers - STR = 0.5 - AGI = 0.5 - INT = 2 - END = 1 Movement Rates (AGI) - At level 1 = 3 sq. - At level 3 = 4 sq. - At level 5 = 5 sq. - At level 7 = 6 sq. - At level 9 = 7 sq. Magic Abilites (INT): Light Magic only - At level 1 = 3 slots - At level 5 = 4 slots Talent - Heavenly Barrier: All allies’ and self receive an increase in physical defense. - Regen: Hit-points regenerate up to 50% of maximum amount 4] Mage Base HP = 18 Primary Stat = INT EXP to distribute = 3 Point Multipliers - STR = 0.5 - AGI = 1 - INT = 2 - END = 0.5 Movement Rates (AGI) - At level 1 = 3 sq. - At level 3 = 4 sq. - At level 5 = 5 sq. - At level 7 = 6 sq. - At level 9 = 7 sq. Magic Abilites (INT): Dark Magic only - At level 1 = 3 slots - At level 5 = 4 slots Talent - Shock Armor: All adjacent enemies are shocked for damage and are recoiled back 1 square. - ESP: Can counterattack in all directions with equal damage.
