You obviously looked at my post on a superficial level. I didn't call the bible bullshit. I said I don't buy into all the bullshit that the bible spits out. I don't think there needs to be a set of rules on how we belive in God. Many of the stories in the Bible are like fairy tales, like Noah Ark and how God created the world in 7 days. That's why I said you can't take the bible LITERALLY BUT FIGURATIVELY! A day in our time may be millions of years in Gods time. Or take Noah's Arc: I doubt he built an ark big enough for two of every animals,and the entire world was flooded for 40 days. These are just story to inspire us to live a good life and treat others with kindness, and show us examples of piety that we should follow. You should take the Bible too seriously. Just try to get the meaning out of the bible, don't try to translate it.

While I believe in God, I think that people who don't who are good people go to heaven. I also think that there are tens of millions of "religous" people who are very bad people and can't expect to go to heaven at all.

The term Jesus freak was invented by Ted Turner when he called a group of employees "Jesus Freaks" for having ashes on their heads on Ash Wednesday.
