actually the movie goes a couple paragraphs into the second book, nothing big but in the first book it doesn't show Boromir going over the falls in the canoe...

No the original book doesn't end there.
the book was later seperated into the three books most of us know and love.

Romance movies are weird. I only watch them when i'm home sick from school and mom won't let me watch what i want, makes me watch Trading Spaces on TLC or crap romance movies like Serendipity, You've Got Mail, or Sleepless in Seattle.
