Mine would definatley have to be the SNES, a ton of great games (and not just RPGs) have come out for this system.

Ok, get ready to kill me...
I voted the Sega Genesis over the SNES. The only games I really like for the SNES is Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG.
For the Genesis, I loved every single Sonic game ever made! I also enjoyed Streets of Rage 2 and 3, Mega Bomberman, Ecco the Dolphin (although it was impossible), Phantasy Star 3, Jungle Strike, Kid Chameleon, and various other games that I don't remember the exact titles for (anyone remember the name of that game where you had various rings that you could wear to cast different spells?).
Check this, though-- I sold my Genesis and all my games to buy a Super Nintendo!! ;D Haha, the irony!

To that I'd add Shinobi and Gunstar Heroes.

I put DC sincec any of my gaming on the SNES(never owned) or genesis was pure child gaming so I was just playing for fun and I don't remember much of it.

SNES without a doubt.
That was the system that got me into RPG's... (Secret of Mana) and has my favorite game of all time, Final Fantasy 3.

I still play all of the old classic games for Genesis and SNES. They never get old. I voted for SNES because of Super Mario World, Super Mario RPG, Super Mario All Stars(That covers a lot of the NES games, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Super Mario Kart, Zelda: A Link to the Past, and many others.

NES is the best system. It had all of the great games including my favorite. It started the gaming age of today.
