I took five years of Spanish in school and I work at Burger King, where I have to use it fairly often. So I would say I'm almost bilingual.
Since I'm Italian, I know a little of that as well. Mostly the bad words...... ;D

Cool, I have been learning Spanish for two going on three years. The thing is, I would like to learn a language that you can use in a lot of place, like French, Spanish, American, ect. But, German is a cool language. I hope you didn't have/ have (currently) a psychotic teacher. I did...........

wop, dago, goomba, guido, etc. are all deragatory names for Italians. Just like calling African Americans n***ers or mexicans sp**ks.

They have a problem with sideways-facing 12 inch high faces with feet? Damn them goomba haters.

It's somewhat funny because of the Italian sterotype. Mario and Luigi are fat Italian plumbers(go figure), so I guess Nintendo thought it would be funny to call the enemies "goombas"

What exactly does that translate to?

Translate this: Ich habe Frau Schmitt fur Fruhstuck gegessen! Ich bin eine nacte Ameise!

It's not really that bad. Ever seen All in the Family on Nick at Night where Archie Bunker always calls Mike a "dumb polock, meathead". Something akin to that.
