Newbs posting in the TSE2 temporary thread is not really disrespect unless they blatantly posted realizing that they weren't supposed to. In the case of Locke, he didn't realize it at first, but we told him and stopped posting (altho now he's up for initiation).
So if any other newbs or non-members post in the temp TSE2 thread, let me handle it.
Thanks.

I know I was just trying to reply and join in on the discussions and things and if I did spam I didn't even know I was doing anything wrong until you guys pointed it out to me. So sorry for trying to be friendly and replying but I will stop....

More posts do not equal a better chance of salvation with God. Yes, it is ok to post off-topic for fun but make sure it's appropriate. And even then, make sure your off-topic posts are VALUABLE to the overall atmosphere of the board. If your post does not add to the fun, comradeship, or intellectual nature of a thread, then DO NOT post it. It's simple as that. We keep tryng to define spam, but most of it is common sense, so spamming in its worst form has no excuse whatsoever.
Also, some newbs in the past have had Obsessive Thread Making Syndrome, in which they believe that every thought they have is worthy of a new thread. I would like to see such people punsihed or banned. It's worse than spamming, because it pushes all the current worthwhile topics off the page so that some newb can be an attention whore.

One more thing: Just because a thread says "New" does not mean you have to post on it.
