This probably belongs in a different board, but i didn't think it should go in the GBA one. The poll at GameFAQs today reminded me of the stupidest idea i've ever heard of. Does anyone know much about it? I heard it was a Nokia system, and i'm not interested at all.

Yeah its Nokia. I really don't think its much of an item for actual gamers. I think as gaming becomes more mainstream people want to get in on it to a degree more than just your cell games, but not to appear "Kiddy" as the N-gage spokesman calls gameboys. You can easily find the same or better for other systems on all their games, although I do like pandemonium. BTW it costs 400 bucks.

I'll most likely ditch my cell phone I got right now (stupid virgin mobile) and get the n-gage when it comes out....hey what do you expect? Im a gamer.

It doesn't matter if no one is on this board. There are multiple of other boards hosted on "server 9" (each number at the end of proboards represents a server for those who dont know). That just means too many people are on the boards hosted by Server 9.

The N-Gage will be the stupidest thing ever. People who buy portable gaming are serious about gaming, so implementing a cell phone, calender, address book, etc. into a portable game system and thus jacking the price up is bullshit. Not to mention that the N-Gage only has a 4-hour battery life and you need to remove the battery before inserting a new game. It's $400!! F**k the N-Gage. This new upcoming Tapwave looks more promising, but again, it implements PDA features into it, which increases the price.  |

Agreed, N-Gage is stupid... I mean, how dumb would you look if you're playing the thing and you get a phone call and you put the thing against your head? And 4 hours?! That's absurd, and unacceptable for me... Besides, as far as I can tell, they have nothing in the way of quality games...
