It's odd that everyone here, including myself, seems to agree that SNES is the best system, period, but yet so many people in my school say that some of the newer systems are the best. They have no taste I tell you. ;D It's because they know nothing about sytems thats why and they probley only look for graphics and not actuall game play which is the very thing that makes a system

Er... well I'd definitely say that PS2 is better than SNES... but SNES did have all of the great games.

I must put SNES of course... I don't think theres really any competition, the only slight competitor is the NES but the SNES was much more powerful and dominant at the time with more good games.

Yes, so true. You need to play the system during its time to determine its greatness. I loved the SNES and my second favorite just has to go with Sega Saturn. Sega Saturn had so many games which had disgaea-like graphics. Many of the games were anime-based like dragonforce. Dragon Force is probably my favorite game of all time

Dragon Force is probably my favorite game of all time Yes, dragon force ruled(and/or rules if you still play it). i picked the NES. Yes Mana is my favorite adventure (or action RPG to you n00b gamers) game series of all time, but when you take the games back to the old school days, it takes real skill.
