What's everyone been listening to lately? I've taken a liking to a lot of folk, especially Bob Dylan, Elliot Smith and Nick Drake. Before that, I was going through a lot of older rock, jazz, electronic and nerdy power metal.

I Love powermetal (by nerdy do you mean Rhapsody?) ;D As for what I've been listening to as of late; it's been the usuall stuff, power metal, death metal, black metal, J-Pop. P.S. Went to an In Flames concert (melodic death metal) on Saturday, it was awesome ;D

My taste in music is weird as I like to listen to some Techno, R&B, Raggae, Rap, etc. I've also started to like theme music lately for some strange reason...to give you an example, Orochimaru's(the guy in DRI's sig) fighting theme.

I just listed the main ones I listen to. Too lazy to list all the artists on my list.

Random stuff. "Dream on", "It's My Life", to "What A Wonderful World", to "Lose Yourself" to lots of Japanese music. I forget, did I say that I was Japanese here? I don't remember too much....

Posting in yet another dead thread (go me)!
Lately, I've been into a lot of psychedelic and folk music. This is how I found out Japan has an amazing psych scene: Acid Mothers Temple, Ghost, Taj-Mahal Travellers, just to name a few. As for folk, Nagisa Ni Te is like a godsend for me, as they're psych-folk.
And I've always had a soft spot for post-rock and stoner/drone metal.
Jaggy, if you like PF you might want to try Sky Cries Mary and Bark Psychosis and Porcupine Tree.

I went through all the phases of rap and hip hop, now I've settled into a smoother pop/rock sensation. I'm appreciating music for the soothing qualities more nowadays, I must be getting old.
