Now who is bad at this game? Or wait who has a bad rec in this game? I'd just like to know if people harass you at all because it happens to me all the time... I'm denied the right to play on custom games when no one will step-up and play when I'm the only one who does, and my fellow clanmates don't even show respect towards me at all because my rec is bad. All they have to say is "u suck n00b"................

jeez, that kinda harsh... i guess
well, i never faced any problem with being kicked out of games because of a bad record. i play with my 0/0/0 character and no one cares. the only thing people worry about is slow downloaders, because those people will usually lag the game. if you truely feel that you have no respect then just make a new file and get a fresh start.

Well it's understandable that clan members would say that since they want their clan to be good but the custom game thing is ridiculous, unless you're playing a custom ffa or something.

You that's kinda funny cause my clan isn't totally about good recs... Bad recs are tolerable...... And getting a fresh start is out of the question because: 1. all my friends would prolly get pissed that i changed names. 2. I have no ideas for a new name... 3. I haven't given up on reviving my horrible record. 4. If I made a new account it'd all be for naught because I'd prolly end up with a bad rec again because bnet screws me by not allowing me to join a bnet game and giving me a loss... 5. I'd have to re-contact my whole f list which is a pain in my ass...

you should just quit the clan then, it's not worth your time to put up with nothing but crap. What's your name online? Mine is DeathCleaver.

My name's LhaveaClan at this point (it used to be I but the record was so crappy I just quit). I won't quit the clan though because I've known this clan for 2 years and I never joined until like 2 months ago so my two main friends in the clan White-Wolves (aka shez) and Jakehunter (aka Harabec or Hara for short) would prolly be very dissapointed and plus I'm very loyal and I know things will change if I voice my opinion.

I rock at that game, lol. My win record is always 75% or so, I can own. I love to switch back and forth between accounts though, so my record never matters.

I HAVE to ask... just how bad IS your record? That makes little difference because no matter what whether i'm 1-50 or 100-4 I should get the same respect as anyone else, and also skill shouldn't be reflected upon % or record because you will never know how good some1 is until you play them... My record is 4-12 i believe..

We should play together, help get that win record up to 14-16 or something, if you care to. As for me, i'm logging on right now. 0verlordLaharl on Azeroth, if you see me, whisper.

My team game record for normal War3 is 18 wins and 9 losses. My record for Expansion kinda sucks though, it's 19 wins and 22 losses. The best strategy game I'm at is probably Starcraft. I once had a ladder record of 64-22

well, kraggzz, if you don't get any respect from your fellow clan members then why do you even bother sticking with the clan? i mean, i know clans are set up to win battles and uphold a good reputation, but they're also a way for people to get to know other people better on b.net, where in most cases it's like you play a game with someone then never see them again, ever. ditch that clan, go find a new one, or be like most people and play solo. make buddies on b.net, but don't join a clan.
and as for sektor, i played with him once in a 2v2 (me and him vs two others) and it is a miracle that we won. you know how in most team matches the other guy is supposed to help his partner if said partner is being overrun? well, guess what, that never happened. i was concentrated on creating a suicide force (not intentionally though) and sektor was just building towers outside one guy's base to harass him. in the end we won, but barely. my base was decimated, but i rebuilt, and sektor's base was also decimated, but he didn't bother rebuilding it. instead he just focused on towers towers towers. yeesh.
sorry bout the rambling. just had to share my experiences. btw, i go by creedfighter (my custom game name) and kentrildumon (my rank game name). add me if you want.

Wow... talk about retarded... I just typed a huge at LEAST half a page about my thoughts on this and suddenly my computer decides it wants to freeze...
Well bollocks... I'm getting a new PC in about a week...
ANYWAY, basically what I was trying to sum up was that you're exactly right on this subject. You really DON'T get any respect until you get a good record going; and my advice to you (if you really aren't that good at the game...) is to play with maybe some of the people on this very board. People you know and you can count on not to talk a bunch of shit to. Other than that, you could just master custom games by playing by yourself; it helped me. I learned a load of tricks from just going into a game and, even if I lost, I'd save the replay and go back to look at what I did wrong, and what my enemy did right vis/versa.
Message me in a couple of weeks, I'm creating my own little clan with a few friends so, if yours isn't looking up to par, you can always play a few matches with us. We'd be glad to help you out. My sn on b.net is night.exe... though I won't be on until I get my new PC... I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D

My record is 4-12 i believe.. Sorry if I didn't say enough and you took it the wrong way, but I completely agree that you should get a lot more respect. And like people have been saying, if your clan makes fun of you that much why are you still in it? I was also curious... 4-12 really isn't THAT bad. I think it's a great idea to get together on war3 and play together.. I remember I tried suggesting something like that a while back but it turned out I was busy every single day that weekend.... I think i'll be busy this weekend too... i haven't had much time for war3 lately...
