...buttons are on the wrong side of windows, and no start menu, but this weird bar on top! Help! In other words, I've been using a Mac in the past few months, and it's been a prettty good experience. I can do pretty much anything I did with my old Windows machine with a GUI I like better (note: I pretty much don't play any PC games). I'm considering installing a second hard drive and dual booting OS X and Gentoo PPC Linux. Any tips on doing this?

What does the weird bar thing look like?
I'm not TOO sure about this since I'm not that familiar with macs but I think you would install the different os's on different hard drives. ex linuk on one and windows on another. there are probably other ways too. you could partition the hard drive and have it so your main hard drive contains 2 os's but is split in 2. and have a 2nd hard drive as a slave
