I played the game at a friends house and didnt like it at all, besides the fact thats its Army propaganda, I didnt like the fact that you had to be a special unit in order to use the binoculars and other things like that

i dled it when it was first released, i played hardcore for half a year to a year got into clanwars etc. when honor was incorporated i got up to ~35 honor or so i still dl new patches occasionally and shoot around on the better maps (Pipeline i think has been one of my tops since the beginning). My only gripe with it is that it takes a lot of time, between half an hour to an hour for a decent set, and seeing as i don't have as much time anymore to game and i don't know many people that play now i don't have much of a reason to play than occasionally IMO its an awesome game, when it came out it was better than all the PAYING FPS and its free =), even now it has enough uniqueness in its design to ensure that even games like half-life 2 don't outclass it. I think the fact that the army is the main sponsor hurt its chances a little because a lot of people see it as some sort of brainwashing thing when really its just a fun high-quality free game =), atleast thats the way i view it. btw i do the owning  >_> |

this free that's why maybe soome ppl think UT2K4>this I get the owning  i got it a couple of months ago and play it every so often... It's vvery hard...especially aiming when someone's shooting u... i don't play pipline...can't go outside...video card can't handle it XD i spend most of my time playing in mout mckenna, insurgent camp and weapons cache |
