Battlefield 2 !!!!

Anyone else picking this up? The system requirements are quite high for this little beauty. I pre-ordered it from ebgames.com yesterday and got free shipping and a free headset. The minimum requirements barely meet my laptop so I hope it won't run bad.....I doubt it It comes out end of the month!

MinimumRequirements:

1.7 GHZ processor (mine is 1.79-1.8)
128 mb video card with 1.4 shader (mine is radeon 9600 turbo mobile card with 128 and I believe 2.0 shader)
512 mb of RAM (got 1 Gb in laptop)


Recommended:

2.5 GHZ processor
1 GB Ram
256 mb Video Card

Just FYI the demo is buggy and definitely not the final version for those that do play it.

That sucks crono that your company can't. Mine is having issues with single player (probably due to the bugs/lowest requrements but the online is sweet.

Wow, I barely meet minimum requirements for it. The thing about those wars games is if you own 1 of them you own them all, especially BF 1942 and all of its mods

The game comes out tomorrow/thursday. For those thinking about getting it I highly recommend downloading the demo first to see if your game can run it. Also check out www.totalbf2.com to learn how to get older cards working with it including Radeon 9200s and Nvidia 5400s.
