Last time I paid for an online game was XBox's PSO, and that was a waste of fucking money if you ask me.
I dont see paying for WoW being an overall good investment, at least I still have my chars from PSO, you cant keep your WoW guy once you stop playing...

Actually, none of your characters ever get deleted. If your account expires, you can renew it a year or two from now and you'll still keep your characters.

Yeah, but really, how long will WoW be played? Sure some people play the older online games still (not much but they do), this game will get outdated, proably with a new WoW or a new WoW clone. Hopefully a less expensive one.

One. I gain a personal vendetta everytime someone talks bad about PSO.
I don't even get to play it online (GC, no adapter... again) And I think it's a fun, multiplayer on a single screen is fun.
But then again, I guess it's for people who want fun and not needing a goal and endgame.
As for WoW, it's been out for how long? How many play? How many more still play?
Granted, you get WoWed out, just like being PSO'ed out, or any other game, but I'm still kicking with some weakling level 60 Warrior.
Well, weak to anyone that's been to MC/Oxy.

I think I'll pass. American MMORPGs don't seem to work for me. Just not my type of game.  And monthly fees suck. |
