AOE 3

anybody noticed that the demo is extremely slow but the full game runs better without as many glitchs or slow frame rate, any body know why this would be so.

They probably didn't care to much that the demo was perfect, they just wanted it to promote the real game which is what they really put effort into.

yeah but usually if they want to make a good impression on this shipping game, you would want it to be a little glitchy. And I know they wanted this game to be big, because they had demo cds flying all over the place, and it was the most popular download on lots of sites, and there were ads every where. my main question was what would cause the glitch and stuff just because it was a demo

Maybe something with downloading it, it deffinatly isn't as effective as installing it from a CD, but why the CD demos where glitchy, I don't know what it could be. It might just be your demo because I played the demo for about half an hour and didn't notice any glitches.

im not talking about downloading problems and stuff but little game glitches. have you played the full game newhubb? because the full game runs better than the demo. think it just might be unupdated grapihcs files that wernt available when the demo was made?

It could be that the demo is simply out of date. If the demo came out before the actual game, that's more than likely the case. Demos also tend to be more intensive on system requirements.
