I have a DS, and I notice a lot of people like to play their GBA games on the dS. But is it me, or is the DS just too heavy to hold for extended periods of time? After fifteen minutes my wrists start to hurt.
Then again, I can hold my GBA SP just fine, even though a lot of gamers compain the unit is too small to hold.

Your mom's too heavy....actually, I think the DS makes it hard to play for extended periods of time as well. I was playing a GBA game, but my fingers started to hurt after about 20 minutes...

I've noticed that it's quite heavy too.. (compared to other handhelds). It's not like it's so heavy that it would make me NOT want to play a GBA game on it, but it is very noticeable after a while, especially when I'm holding it up while playing in bed or whatever. I didn't have any problems holding the SP at all. It was perfect. And same with the GBA.

SP felt really light after playing DS for 30 min.

oh yea, the gym, they go those little weights you hold for an hour or so that weigh the same as a DS.

I find them a bit heavier than previous handheld devices, but honestly not much bigger than a gamegear. The software is promising this year so yall better do some more finger streches.

Slap a screen, controller, and battery pack onto an Xbox and you'll see what a real heavy handheld system feels like.
But on a serious note, the DS isnt that heavy at all, the only times I've gotten pains in my hands was cause I played Minish Cap on there for like 5 hours at 1 point. But besides that I really havent had any trouble with it.
Besides, its a small price to pay for a screen that looks 10x's more clearer.

I LOVE BACKLIGHTING! Frontlighting is just...not as good. The colors don't show up as well. Try playing TO:KoL on a DS, and you'll see what I mean.

I'm fine with w/e kind of lighting, as long as it allows me to play it in the dark
