Let's see... Better screen resolution? Nope. More RAM? Nope. X and Y buttons? Nope. I guess I'm not getting one.

I never bought batteries anyway for the GBA, had a rechargable batterie for it. I also didn't buy it,so i can't vote. Is it just me, or is GBASP's screen without the light on worse than the normal GBA's?

Just so you know, the SP is not backlit.
Also, the Gameboy Player blows the SP out of the water. I mostly play my GBA at home, anyway.

Yes, the light in the back is your imagination. The light in the front, however, is not. The SP is front lit, not backlit.

Well that's true, but it's still considered backlit, just because the light is integrated witht the screen.

Well that's true, but it's still considered backlit, just because the light is integrated witht the screen. Which doesn't make sense, because to be backlit, the lighting array must be aligned behind the entire screen. That also means that Nintendo either refused to or couldn't figure out how to create a transparent pixel matrix.

It really doesn't matter; the SP's light works well enough. And I won't get an SP because I'm guessing that another Gameboy will come out in about 2 or 3 years, so I'll probably wait until then and hope Nintendo is smart enough to put the SP features into that Gameboy.

Is it just me, or is GBASP's screen without the light on worse than the normal GBA's? I think your right, seems that way to me anyway. I've actually had it pay for itself already as far as batteries go. My GBA was scratched to hell after my cousin borrowed it anyway.

Yeah, SP is great and all... but does it have six buttons?! I don't think so... and the smaller L and R makes it crazy hard to play Megaman Zero (On my normal GBA I can beat it using no Elves on Hard Mode with a rank of A).

Yeah, SP is great and all... but does it have six buttons? no, it has 7 buttons (light, L, R, A, B, select, start) ;D but if you mean like they should have added X and Y, then that would basically be a brand new gameboy, with all the possibilities of better games and stuff.
