i guess its because the US is closer, or people in Europe arent that interesting in games
does Japan get games that are made by EA games and other US companies sooner or later than the US?

LOL i know what's going on here. Well the reason Europe gets games later is because they have to be prepared for the European marketing (ie: shipping games, advertising, any localization issues). The way it usually works is 1st Japan. 2nd US. 3rd EU. Some European game companies only make games for Europe too. One game that came over from Europe surprisingly for once was Gunmetal for XBOX (go look it up).

For normal console games, we (Europe) don't get the games due to some TV's which only run in 50hz (PAL)not 60hz (NTSC) like the U.S. Localisation is worse as it has to be done in German, French, Spanish etc etc :/ Yet for UK they still don't change things like armor to armour

so basically TVs in Europe cant handle the graphical power of some of the recent PS2, Xbox, and GC games?

Nah, it's nothing to do with graphics or power, just different TV standards.NTSC runs at a low res than PAL, but at 30 frames, PAL 50 (older TV's) runs at a higher resolution but only 25 frames. So it's not compatible with America's standard, but there's PAL 60- higher res and 30 frames.

i never thought the problem would be the TV, i just thought it had to do with trade agreements
