I am trying to play advance wars with my friend with a multi-pak link option in Advance Wars 1. However, I noticed that we are not allowed to play 3P or 4P maps. I don't get it. We want to ally against computers, but AW seems to only let humans verse each other. anyone know anything about this? How do you enable computers in link mode when only 2 people are playing?

there isnt really a way because the company who made it had the belief that they would make multi pack for when u verse eachother u wouldnt be able to spy on your enemy by ending ur turn then begining the enemies turn just to see what they had then pass the game on. So the single pack vesing is the only way to verse cpus.

That doesn't make sense to me...

Anyways what i meant was that its not to spy on the cpu but to spy on the human player your versing therefore to only have acces to your troops there is link battles.

You can watch the computer's moves to pick up army info on the other human player. That's nice, but why couldn't they just add the option anyway? Did they change this in AW2?

I believ you can do 3 or 4 player multipack games if you have that many linked.

If you play with more than 1 gba linked, you cant play vs the comp and your friends too. You will just have to use one GBA. Its the same in AW2 too.

I mean, I know the computer AI isn't that fun/challenging, but how hard would it have been to include it anyway? Damn lazy bitches.
