Great news Landon! So what's new around this mofo? Well some of us are getting socom II for xmas and we deleted the anime board. Basically everything is going pretty well and topics are up to date. We definitely missed you for a few weeks.

I am not quite sure what I am going to do with my GBA. I am either going to sell it, hold onto it for backup, or give it to someone. I vote for sell it (if it's in good condition etc. and you think you can find an easy way to do it, and get a good price on it). Giving it to someone else isn't such a bad idea.... it really depends on the circumstances there, like if your good friends with a person, and they want a GBA, etc. (wow, I used this twice in one post... I feel like a certain teacher I know who always says etc. etc.) hey locke

Gamecube's been really going down lately... Sorry for all those who disagree, but I think MK: Double Dash blows. Although it can be a fun 3 or 4 player game, the game got old quickly for me. When was the last time we saw a new Earthbound game? Zelda, Skies of Arcadia, SSBM, Metroid Prime were the only big GC games I enjoyed... Oh well, there's still Baten Kaitos and Tales of Symphonia left. I guess I agree that 1-P MK: DD gets old REALLY quickly , especially because you can't retry races, so that if you want to play a certain course later with CPU competition, then you need to go through the whole thing to do it ONCE, and you don't get practice blah blah blah. I also not as fun 1-P for me because it's a little more... uncontrolled and hectic, and the battle mode maps IMO have taken a steep dive (I haven't unlocked the secret one yet though...) I could go on about how 1-P mode is less than what I would like, but I don't think I'm explaining it too well. Multiplayer however, is where MK: DD SHINES. Even only 2-people makes it SO much fun ;D. I'm not even talking about "cooperative" play, that's interesting, I like more where people play on different karts . For me, it's really the only way I have a chance at beating some of the harder Grand Prix cups (we're struggling our way through 150cc, can't imagine what Extra will be like). Earthbound has been a while... I completely agree that lately (N64, GC, to an extent the handhelds) have been really lacking in quantity of quality games . SNES was really the only system where I found a lot of good games in many genres... and bought a lot too .

Time for Cap'n Old-News to save the day! They're making a Mother 3, for GBA. It will be released in the same cart as Mothers 1 and 2, so that means the entire Earthbound Saga (Zero, 1, and 2) on one cartridge. Check starmen.net or something for more info.

[glow=navy,2,300]I heard that they were remaking those games for GBA, but I didn't think they would be on the same game! And I also didn't know that they were making a new one to go with it! When it comes out, I will actually get a chance to play the original games (I have looked everywhere, but I can't find anywhere other than ebay that is selling Earthbound). Thanks for the news Magicman![/glow]

In regards to selling the GBA, I can sell it for around $50 on ebay. I would probably throw in my light guard that I got for it. After xmas I will see what they are selling for again and decide what I want to do.

After xmas I will see what they are selling for again and decide what I want to do. I think that's a pretty good deal, I'd say go for it even if after xmas you can't find something higher. Exceptions would be: 1. It's a really really good light guard?! I'm guessing that it's fairly cheap right? 2. If you regularly take trips that involve minimal access to recharge your SP or something... 3. Like if I said before if you really want to give it to someone.

Ah schucks, I missed you asses too. Hi Ghosty! One of the best games I've played this year: Metal Arms: Glitch in the System. That is all.

My pal got metal arms and he loves it. I put the GBA up on EBAY with my light guard (which is pretty good) and my carrying case. I think it will go for 60 on EBAY. Here is the link to it.

Speaking of SP's I just got one, there great compared to the old GBA. The back light is GREAT, since we all know that one of the only flaws in the GB were the screens and how you had to be in direct light etc.

Yeah, it's much greater than the regular GBA. Mainly because of the light, of course, but I like how it can be flipped too. Don't have to worry about making the screen dirty and it's more compact that way. The only annoying thing about it is that you can't plug in regular earphones. :/

Did you get that $60 bucks man? Yah, and Metal Arms is a great game, a total sneak attack game (meaning it saw very little fanfare).

His was in better shape than mine, plus it was a more popular color. I really don't care since I got half my value back.

True true. I'm not planning to sell my GBA personally, it's a limited edition Toys R Us cobalt blue one, I've never seen someone with the same one. The only prob is, the battery covers "nipple" broke off so it doesn't stay on without some help from a piece of duct tape. Know where I can get a new battery cover?
