It would be horrible if there wasn't going to be a North American release... Nintendo would disappoint alot of fans, including myself, if they decided to keep it in the land of the rising sun. Let's just hope that it's just in very early development

Tuh, they always disappoint us anyways. Like that time when they CANCELLED MAGICAL VACATION!!! I can't believe it. NP covered it and all in one of their issues, I remember. I was looking forward to it too. And then they CANCEL IT! Why the hell did they do that anyway? I never did find out.

Well, they cancelled its release here anyway. I have the Japanese version. It didn't seem too great anyway, it was way too spell heavy (hence the name)

There's bound to be one somewhere. If pokemon Gold/Silver were translated online before being released in the US, then maybe there's hope for Magical Vacation to be floating around somewhere out there

Haven't heard a word since Starmen.net covered it... what, three freaking years ago?
I hate them. They did the same thing with Earthbound 64.

TBA - those three simple letters are the bane of all hopefuls.

Some of those DS dates have been announced, though. Pictochat is 12/31/04, and a lot of the rest are either that or 6/1/05 (Animal Crossing DS, for instance).
