Both would be optimal, but I only spend enough time playing the GBA to get one. Opinions from any peeps here would be greatly appreciated. And even though most of the storyline from Fusion was already spoiled for me ( ), please try not to spoil anything else. Thanks.

Well Sokar , IMO you should get zero mission. If you already know most of the fusion storyline, theres not much suspense in playing it anymore. While Zero mission is a remake of the first metroid and it has 3 difficulties. And when you beat zero mission you unlock the very original nes version of metroid.

Both are as good, but I think Zero Mission has more stuff (like NES Metroid) and just lasts longer.

Well, I can tell you the map is the same as the NES one. And of course, the graphics are way better.. and it's made easier since they kind of "tell" you where to go next. I suppose everything else is the same, though overall, it just seems easier than the NES one. But that may be because I was playing it on easy.

I vote Fusion because of several reasons. 1) It's not like the first one, so you don't know that she's going to kill Kraid and then the planet blows up (oops, spoilers... ) 2) Better plot (including a twist...sort of...) 3) The game play is different. Not just shoot, shoot, shoot, jump, shoot, shoot...with Fusion, you absorb also. 5) New enemies, and new tactics for taking them on, etc. EDIT: Oh, Sokar, I like your allusion to Tactics Ogre. It made me laugh. Would you buy: happiness, prosperity, greed, or Metroid?

I voted Zero Mission but only on the assumption that you haven't played the original yet.

Haha, thanks, TF. I didn't think anyone would notice. I noticed, since I started a new file in TO recently. : D I still have yet to play Zero Mission on Normal or Hard. Easy sure was easy though...

I will probably just jump right into hard skill. Hard isn't really that hard once you figure out where to go and such...

I believe you have to unlock Hard mode by beating the game once. I may be wrong though... Maybe I'm thinking about another game.

Yes, that's how you unlock hard mode. The hardest thing to do is beat it and get the ending in which you only collect 2% of the items...including missles bombs, and more importantly, health. I think that means you can only get five upgrades.
