What's snaking? My friends and I played together (I had to download it, as I've never played it/ I don't own it), and I still ended up beating both of them.  |

It's powersliding from left to right on a straight section of a track (like a snake slithering which is where it got its name from) so that you get boosts continuously and thereby having a huge advantage over others. I wouldn't exactly say it's cheating, but I still think it's stupid and ruins everything. Fortunately, I haven't encountered too many snakers online. The 2nd thing I hate about playing online is disconnectors, especially the ones who disconnect when they're losing.

just do it yourself
its not stupid or cheating it just helps separate the faster racers from the slower ones >_>
disconnecting is lame though

Not necessarily. I think depending on how you are disconnected, the score sometimes isn't recorded.
As for snaking, yeah, it separates the faster racers from the slower ones alright. Usually, there's one snaker out of the 4 players and that one is always miles ahead of the rest. Now, that's not TOO bad, since you can still get wins from the other slower players, but when you're the only one against a snaker, it's just pointless and I would disconnect in that situation since you're obviously going to lose anyways.

Well, I finally have both MKDS and the USB connector. I wish they sold the USB connector in stores, but the good news is that it is so EASY to use. What I like about it is that I can unplug it and that way I don't have to worry about someone else in the house playing it while I'm gone. That and if it emits some sort of deadly radiation I don't know about, I can minimize my doses! Anyway, I really, really suck at Mario Kart DS and am really easy to beat. So here's my Friend Code.

They sell the USB connector in stores here in Canada. Don't know why they don't in the US. I got mine at Best Buy. It works like magic. I was having far too many problems with getting online with my wireless router so I got the USB connector instead. Now I rarely have problems.. after configuring Norton, that is (Norton is ALWAYS the problem). Anyway, I'm starting to get tons of homework again so I probably won't be able to play much. Sigh.

Nintendo said they're not shipping them to the US until March or something. They didn't say why. I'm not sure why they wouldn't. I've also heard of it being advertised by Best Buy in the US, but I don't know if they actually have them. One person said they didn't, so I don't know.

Yeah dude my record is 4-1 on Mario Kart (I don't have access to wireless at home and I go back to school Friday afternoon where I will again). Jaggy and I are going to try to visit each others towns this weekend in Animal Xing.

We should set up a date or something for racing in MKDS. You guys figure out the timezones though, lol. Btw, I have gotten better since last time and won't lose so easily.
Also, my friend ordered Jump Superstars and I tried it out using DS download play. I must admit, it's an awesome game. Too bad it's not coming out here; I'd buy it for sure. Which reminds me, are there any other games for the DS that are coming out soon? I'm getting tired of MKDS and AWDS. (I already beat Super Mario 64 DS)

Anyways, what I said was there's Metroid Prime Hunters coming out next month. It has online capabilities, which sounds pretty rad.
