In "Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town" for the GBA, how do you get your stupid dog to grow up? I'm on year 2 (spring), I bought the ball, got his hearts up to the maximum of 10, picked him up and put him down at least 10 times a day, and yet he's still a little puppy. Even the horse advanced to the final stage.
Any advice?

I haven't played this game in ages, so can't remember. Maybe he grows up by Fall of year 2? I dunno. Anyhow, you're doing it right. Guess you'll just have to wait longer.

Picking him up once a day is good enough Creed. I think that when you two play with the ball, you're basicly practicing for the Beach Party that occurs only in summer. There's a frisbee event there that you and your dog should be able to win. When you do win, I think that's when he finally grows up. Not too sure though, but it's definetly worth a try.

No, he grows up after a set time. And yeah, picking him up once a day is enough, as with all your other animals. Only when he's an adult can he play with the frisbee, so...

Yeah, you're right...Well you can pick him up, bring him out during the day and inside of your house during the night. (Maybe he's already grown-up, but you haven't noticed the difference in him?) Either way, he'll eventually grow up.

Alright, thanks. I was wondering if I was doing something wrong because in the booklet it said that the dog should probably mature around the same time as the horse and whatnot.

Hey everyone! ;D I saw this post, and so i checked it out a bit at gamefaqs.. if ne1 has played this, i was just wondering if it was any fun? i was thinking of getting this, but do u have to like grow crops, build, etc? I guess i'd just like to know wut the background of this game is, Thanx!  |
