Zelda: The Minish Cap will be released !!!?!!!!
I'm going to get it, but it raised a few questions in my mind. Why does Nintendo mainly focus on expanding a few franchises, instead of taking chances on games that are new and unique (Baten Kaitos for example)?
In this game, Link is looking for four elements to assemble a sword that will defeat Vaati (by the way, where did Vaati come from? What a washed up "villian"...). You can collect figurines (suprise suprise, that doesn't ring a bell), and share Kinestones with in game characters or link up with another friend. You can also collect rare shells (now that doesn't sound like any previous game set on Koholint island where you could collect shells) and trade them in for something or another. Even through my sardonic griping...it looks like fun...

The reason Nintendo has to stay with established franchises is because if they experiment too much and fail they are basically screwed. Playstation has been kicking their ass more or less for the past decade, and now Xbox is ahead of them too. I think eventually (unless their next platform is really good) they will go the way of Sega and becoming a software company. Hell, Sega probably made more $$$ this year then in the last year of Dreamcast. Too bad EA had to screw them outta making NFL 2k5...only EA has the rights to NFL game for the next 5 years I think.
