Whyyy is there not a topic for this already (or well, I think there was, but don't feel like digging it up)? O.o If you haven't already picked up this game, you should. The graphics are too good to be true, especially the opening movie. So is the music. Just started playing this game today since finals were over and I could barely put it down.

Hurray for finals ending! I am heading home now and going to start playing Portrait of Ruin. Can't wait for some needed TLC in the gaming world. I saw this came out but have enough games backlogged to play at the moment.

Yea, I also have to wait till Christmas...unfortunately, I'm only getting SMB and FFIII, not C:PoR.

I just beat it a few days ago and I thought it was great overall. One of the better things Square has done recently. What did you think was missing? Keep in mind that this was originally released for NES afterall.

I am lucky I even got it today. It was sold out and the guy said they had one in stock but he didn't know where. I was about to go home when he found it. I started playing today and it really reminds me of Golden Sun. Great Fun. I doubt I'l beat it anytime soon though. I'm only in the cursed town right now.

That cursed town had me baffled for quite a while.
From the not long that I've played, this game looks fairly interesting. A little hard, considering the first like three places you need to be mini for. But yeah.
Overall, I'm enjoying FF5 a whole lot more right now.

I don't know about this game anymore - I broke the stone with the ship and then I lost interest afterwards (I also don't have the time with University)...I'm thinking about trading it in for C:PoR at EBGames.

That down was the devil. I played through half the game and lost interest....very sad since it's one of the best in the series.

Five or three? Because if three, I lost interest too. Not five though, I got basically everything in five.
