I don't know how many or if any of you picked this up but I did and recently started playing it. It is a pretty fun game and quick strategic. The controls are a little tricky to get used to since everything is on the fly (no pause to move units) its kind of like playing starcraft. The troops only move forward, backward, left, and right and NOT diagonal making it be tricky to move people to a location. However the story is quite engaging, graphics are great, and the flow is smooth. I am enjoying it so far other and have gotten pretty good at figuring the game out. It got mediocre reviews but you have to just know how the troops move and understand that at times you have to initiate attack/run away more than probably necessary. Other than that it is solid.

I don't know what it is with me and the Mana series but ever since I tried Sword of Mana, I never went back. I remember playing it and getting so frustrated with a couple of things...I think it was the class system, and something else that I can't really remember at the moment.
EDIT: If this game gets really good reviews I might consider it.

It has gotten very mixed reviews. It is by no means outstanding but it is the best RTS on DS...more or less one of the only few. I would say fire emblem is similar and maybe a bit better but different mechanics.
