Hey isn't it just about out now in the states? Anyone got it yet? It comes out this coming week and I'm sure a member or two will pick it up.

A reviewer on another board I visit has it and is updating us with all the new information. There is alot that has changed in this game - they basicly went back to AW1 and redesigned the game from there. New units include: The Flare tank, Anti-tank, Seaplane, Duster, Bike, Missile Boat..and I think that's about it. There are still Com Towers and apparently there's now a radar unit. There are no more Super Co powers - just CO powers and they don't affect the tide of battle as much. The CO zone is the Area of Effect that the CO radiates once inside a unit. The more units that fight inside this CO Zone, the larger the AoE and the higher the CO gauge. If your CO unit is killed, your Gauge resets and your CO goes back to the HQ. You also have to pay half the price of the unit that you load your CO in. There's no more War room, instead, they were implemented as Trial maps in Campaign. Also, the design maps offer more options. I thought it came out the 21st? Someone's gotta have it! I asked EB games today and they said that they would probably have it by afternoon so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. EDIT: Nope, no luck. They said to try again tomorrow.

It depends but the moves are timed (like a chess game) so if you take too long, your turn is over.
Good stuff, let us know your FC when you get it.

Is it like, 30 min a match? Or are we talkin 1-2 hours? Ballpark figure is fine.
As I'll be beating you from Japan, Dark, I have to think about how the time zones are going to work out ;-)

30 minutes probably. Not too long. Although, time flies when you're playing this game, so you won't even notice.
You all have such confidence in your abilities - such mad hope of victory.

30 min, not bad not bad.
I have never even played the previous games before. I'm just full of hot air.
But once I figure it out, you're all toast.
3-4 player wifi sounds like a blast!

I talked with some other members and they said that depending on who you're fighting (friends or random) it might take longer. With friends, it can end up taking one hour or so.
I've beat the campaign with S-ranks across the board. Time for me to play Trial Maps and WiFi.
