Let's say the TSE RPG became an online game. That is, you login to a website after creating a personal account. Your account keeps track of your units, the items you possess, the money you have, etc. You then meet in a chat room where you can challenge other members in battle. All information is saved on the server, so you can play the TSE RPG from any computer with internet access.
Let's talk about economics. Suppose that to play the TSE RPG, you need to pay a subscription fee. Let's say, a fee every four months, or 3 times a year.
What is the most amount of money you are willing to pay for every 4 months to play a game like the TSE RPG (it is essentially a simplified TO:KoL game that you can play online with other forum and non-forum members)? Why or why not? Please post responses.
REMEMBER: Vote for the most you are WILLING to pay, not the price at which you would like the game to be. If you do not understand this concept of willingness to pay v. favorable price, then please abstain from voting.
Thank you for your time, Sokar468

One question. How would we pay? By check or cash or credit card or what?

One question. How would we pay? By check or cash or credit card or what? I am not sure, probably through a specialized online payment service, like PayPal. Try not to conisder it though--assume payments are not an issue of concern.

I'd pay 10, it aint that much, and thats only like 2.50 a month. But does it require any fast connection like a cable, or DSL to run the game at a smooth pace?

I think ten dollars is a fair amount, its not like its gonna put us in the poorhouse. Besides, the TSE rpg sounds like a good idea. I'm up for it

Since I have a lot of games I play plus expenses, I would have to go $5 per period. I would not play all the time.

This would go through my parents and I doubt they'll pay, or let me pay.

I'm not really the one that likes to pay for these things. I want to see its quality, although I'm sure it will be good if it charges.
