I am just curious how many people here are going to see it.
I certainly will. I have opening night tickets to see it on the 18th on something in my area called "The Ultra Screen". ;D

Maybe, there are other movies. I'm not sure if I will see this. Adam Sandaler's 8 Crazy Nights looks funny. But that's playing right now.

I'll see the movie, but I've never read the book. I quit in the first few chapters of the Fellowship of the Rings. The book's pace was too slow, and I don't have the time to read it. Plus I'm not into fantasy books.

Do you know how many books I almost set aside because the first few chapters were "slow" and then realized later that it was one of the best books I ever read? Don't make that mistake. These books are not considered classics for no reason you know.

On the same topic there are those who say the most idiotic thing I think I have ever heard: "I didn't like the ending to the first movie.". WTF??!!!!!! It isn't even really supposed to be an ending you morons and that's pretty much how the first book ends. I hope nobody on this forum ever says that.

I going to see it without hestitation. And Zynx is right, in many trilogy type movies the first movie sets up the overall plot. Think about Back to the Future, they kinda just go into the future without an explanation, because the saga was going to continue. The same thing with Star Wars: A New Hope. Except that was the exception, cuz that's a great standalone movie and didn't really have an abrupt ending.

All they do is travel, fight, sing, tell stories, sleep... continue that cycle a few times.. and there it is.
