I know its over with, but I havent seen any threads about it so I might as well start one.
One of the cool things I saw from E3 was the new Zelda game. Im guessing though that they proably wouldnt have went with the 3d version if so many people hadn't complained about the cell shaded Wind Waker game. There was nothing wrong with those graphics, I actually liked it but oh well.
The Gameboy Micro was a weird one I thought. Basically its a GBA, but a lot smaller, and supposedly the brighest handheld screen (so im guessing its better looking than the DS?).
For some reason they had practically nothing about Perfect Dark Zero, which was supposed to come out the same year as the ORIGINAL XBOX! But got pushed back and pushed back to the 360 release. This game better kick ass.
Finally some DS news. Mario Kart, Viewtiful Joe, Castlevania are all coming out for DS before Christmas (thank God). About time us DS owners get some damn games for this system.
For the PS3, Killzone looked spectacular. They said its all in game footage, but there are some things about that video that make me think otherwise.
Everyone should know by now that the Nintendo Revolution will allow you to d/l all previous NES, SNES, and N64 games. What I dont know is if this relates to 3rd party games as well, or just games made by Nintendo.
And finally, I rate the systems from best to worse from what I think they'll be.
1) Nintendo Revolution 2) Playstation 3 3) Gameboy Micro 4) Proably another retarded Ngage or something 5) Xbox 360
Thats right Microsoft, you can suck it.

I don't agree with Nintendo Revolution over PS3 because A. they barely even gave information on it and B. Atleast the PS3 had visuals and statistics to show. The Revolution did not even have a controller. I know you are a big Nintendo Fan which makes me think you put it first but based on pure information you cannot rank the Nintendo Revolution above everyting else (including 360).

I'd agree that PS3 is the most exciting for me in terms of systems, but I honestly am more excited for the next Zelda game... Link is a motherfuckin werewolf.

I know you are a big Nintendo Fan which makes me think you put it first but based on pure information you cannot rank the Nintendo Revolution above everyting else (including 360). Well, the whole being able to d/l NES, SNES, and N64 games puts it above the 360's "superior graphics" anyday. Look at the Xbox's game lineup. Now name 5 great Xbox Exclusive game...you cant! Grant it Halo, Halo 2 and Ninja Gaiden kick ass, but there are so many failures and wannabe games that I could puke.
The 360 controller looks exactly like the original xbox controller. The PS3 controller looks like a God damn boomerang, like I could take it, throw it out my window and have it come back to me. The Revolutions controller, though not yet done, will be customizable, and kinda like the DS's touch screen (I wish I remember where I read that from).
Yes, I am a Nintendo fan, I also love Sony because of all the great RPG's that come out exclusively for them. Star Ocean, Disgaea, Phantom Brave, Growlanser to name a few. But I know that Sony, as they always have, will focus a lot more on looks rather than cost, or other issues.
Its been stated (again, dont know where) that the gaming industry and the graphics and such are moving at such a tremendous pace that even the game companies cant keep up with it. Not only cant they take full advantage of the power of the newer systems, it costs them a hell of a lot more to create games on 360 and PS3 than the Revolution.
Revolution dosent have much details about it, but you know for a fact that its gonna be good, has Nintendo ever let you down?
I also gotta say it again, fuck you Microsoft. I bought your damn system thinking there'd actually be a FEW good games for it, and all you left me with is the Halo series, its good, but not good enough to buy a whole system for it.

Supposedly its free, but you never know if they'll start charging when the NR actually comes out. Also the NR is supposed to be able to go online, but you dont have to hook up any cables. Using Bluetooth technology or something similar to that it will be able to connect with servers or something set up all over and will enable you to, in a sense "go online".
All speculation though.

It is also supposed to play Gamecube games and have DVD playback for once. In regards to Nintendo letting people down the answer is Yes. I find the Gamecube a big let down as a mainstream console from Nintendo. Sure it has its fair share of good games..............if you like games from Nintendo and Sega and one or two others like RE 4. The console has almost no 3rd party support thanks to Nintendo's business practices and most of the games I feel are a let down. I refused to buy it because I felt if I did I would only be getting 5 games for it. My PS2 collection is nothing compared to PSX / Older systems but if I had a gamecube it would be even smaller. I also think the lack of DVD support, using mini-discs, and almost no online connectivity was a big let down. Yes I do go online with my PS2 thanks to SOCOM II and especially Monster Hunter which I played the hell out of (145 hours) online.

I don't care much for online gaming, so the Gamecube having only one online game was fine with me. And to tell the truth, the only PS2 games that I thought were worth getting were mostly the RPGs and so I don't have many PS2 games. It's true that GCN didn't have that much 3rd party support, but it had a lot of good first party games and I liked the RPGs for it (even though there weren't many). Tales of Symphonia alone is a good reason to buy one. That's probably just me, but I really enjoyed that game, more so than any PS2 game I have.

I'm looking forward to downloading all of the crappy N64 games that I want to replay. Well right now I know a place you can go to online and get all of them including the emulator + all the Nes and SNES........ I guess Nintendo doesn't need to put that function in their next system after all

Of the new systems, i'd say i have:
4 Xbox games 6 DS games 15+ PS2 games 25+ GC games 40+ GBA games
Most my PS2 games are RPGs, a few classics like Metal Gears and other games, and some which have no place being there, like a spongebob game (blame my sister for that one).
Most likely I'll buy buying a NR first, maybe a PS3, no way im getting 360. If my lil bro wants to play Halo 3, he's gotta buy the 360 himself.

We need more good RPGs...I think we could use another Tactics Ogre or another Earthbound.

The behind-closed-doors Gothic 3 video was the best of E3.
I'm in love.

I might get the NR if what you say is true. Well, the NR may be good, the PS3 should be good too, so I wouldnt necissarily change what your gonna buy on account of me. But the NR's features IMO make it a better choice than the PS3, and most definetley the 360.
Here's a side note: Me, and 8 people I know who all have an Xbox, have had an Xbox break and needed to buy a new one to replace it. Thats 9 right there, 9 within a 5 mile radius of me that I know.
