Ok, it looks like I might have to do some work on attack range. Considering that the beginner maps are 8x8 squares, and Lightning Bow can fire up to 7 squares... yeah, so you get my point.
Secondly, CrazyChocobo, Defiant Guy, and Jagged_Ice--your team is entirely made up of soldiers. Remember, magic is the only way to restore hitpoints. Are you guys ok with this? It's not too late to change considering the RPG hasn't actually started yet. Otherwise, I would be interested to see how this configuration turns out.

Here are some helpful tips.
To do agi, have a set percent when attacked from the front (60%) side (75%) and back (99%). Then take the attackers agi and the defenders agi (add in the multiplyers too). Then subtract the attackers agi by the defenders. Take the number and add of subtract it from the set precent to determine the hit %.
EXAMPLE
Soldier A=8 agi NInja C= 7 agi
Soldier attacks front of ninja. Soldier agi= 8x1 8 Ninja agi=7x2 14
8-14= -6
so the final hit rate for the soldier in the front is 54%

Ok, here is some info about the four status ailments.
==Status Ailments==
Sleep = The character becomes immobolized and cannot take action. Sleep disappears after a set period of time, the victim is attacked, or a status-curing spell is used.
Poison = The character suffers HP damage at the beginning of his turn. Damage generally ranges betwee 5-10% of the victim's maximum HP. Poison wears off after a set period of time, a status-curing spell is used, or the victim dies.
Mute = The victim's voice is weakened. Magic spell effects and damage dealt by the victim are reduced by half. Mute wears off after a set period of time or a status-curing spell is used.
Fatigue = The victim's strength is drained. Physical attacks made by the victim deal half damage. Fatigue wears off after a set period of time or a status-curing spell is used.
NOTE: Some people consider "Death" a status ailment. In this RPG, it is not! Once a comrade has fallen in battle, he or she cannot participate for the rest of the battle! No ressurection scrolls or altars, so take care to keep your allies protected and healed.
Your character is not permanently lost if he or she falls in battle.

I'd greatly appreciate it that way I don't have to wade through text trying to figure out if you wanted your avatar or your custom....thx for your cooperation with me. I hope to get to gether with Sokar on AIM and talk out some of the last rules and play a few games with some people for some betas.
