Favorite RPG Memories(**SPOILERS**)

I guess im a sentimental person but i have to say i get some strange RPG memories.

One of my favorite ones was the shock me and my friend had when we saw Aerith die in FF7, we never used her in our party (we played together) and when she died we felt like we really lost something, we felt mad, i must say that is one of the best moments in any RPG and a true testament to how FMV CAN be good for RPG's.

So share your fav rpg moments, im sure it will be funny, sad, and cool all at the same time.

Yea that was a pretty awesome moment, it was stuff like that thats so cool, or when Edgar jumped off the egde of Figaro castle and onto the chocobo? See moments like that i remember, then Kefka's all in the sand alone and cursing...lol...im wierd

That exact same memory of Aeris dying sticks out in my more then any other moments. BTW, why didn't you use her? She was the best healer and magic user in the game at the time. I used her a little too much, and when she died I had to use either Tifa or Yuffie(ick) to replace her.

Chrono Trigger gave me lots of memories too. The showdown with Magus(his theme music rocks), going to the Zeal Kingdom and fighting your way through the Ocean Palace and the the Black Omen, and the battle with Lavos.

The final one that stick out in my mind is in Lunar EB when you realize that Ghaleon has actually been on your side the whole time, and he gives you his sword before he dies.

Geez, the Magus battle rocked like no other, his music is the best music ever in any game, period. Another cool part in Chrono Trigger was when Crono dies.......jeez that was big moment, i can count on a hand the RPG's were the main character dies, that i know of at least. That was quite a heavy moment.
Speaking of Magus getting him at the Cape of Hope was a cool moment, i always like when "villians" join your party.

Remember in FF6 when you got to control General Leo in the battle against Kefka? That was sweet, his Shock skill rocked and he got 4 attacks. I was hoping he would join the party, but then that gay clown had to go and kill him

[glow=red,2,300]That was cool as well, Leo was a cool guy, and had a good character going. Kefka was a villian you really did HATE. He killed people badly and was quite evil in everything he did. FF6 also has one of the saddest moments ive ever seen (if you let it happen), the first time i tired to heal Cid with Celes he died, i felt like a failure...i was really sad when that happen. Amazing how FF6 with lil sprites as characters had better character devlopement then fully 3d huge ass models in ff10...hum de dum[/glow]

The opera scene was good too. Man, Chrono Trigger and FF6 & 7 bring back a lot of memories. Ah, reminiscing!

Let me add the craziest villian ive ever had to face has been Ultros, come on he's an octopus that has feelings and seems to have business sense by joining the empire, he was like a mercenary talking bounty hunting octopus who made Sabin really pissed off.....it always makes me think how crazy Square used to be..lol[/glow]

That wasn't that great IMO. Golden Sun seemed to be lacking in story and character department for me to care too much.

Off the top of my head...

Cecil becoming a Paladin in FF4, Porom and Palom turning themselves to stone to stop the wall.
Terra walking through the snow in FF6 with the best music in the game accompanying it, Shadows dreams and most scenes with Locke .
Lans Hamilton in LuCT, falling to the ground when Denim plays the music box.
Mareg dying horribly in Grandia 2 ( although i found that more funny than serious, if only it had been Tio ;D)
The look on Sephiroths face as he died.
Cuan and Ethlin being betrayed in Fire Emblem while Finn and Leaf watched.
Orsted becoming the Demon in Live a Live, and then playing his scenario.

My favorite scene of all times was when Aeris died. That was the most memorable moments. Maybe I like tragic moments, they're so intriguing. Other moments I remembered was.

General Leo's death! He was so awesome! (Darn you Kefka )
Mina sacrificed herself to become the great bird (BOF2)
When Sigurd was betrayed by Alvis. (FE4)
