I got some chain letter saying that bill gates would send you a check for a bunch of money for each person you mailed it to and each person they mailed it to, and so on. I got it from one of my moms friends who said she saw something about it on the news. It claims you'll get an e-mail asking you your adress to mail you a check 2 weeks after you get it. I was just wondering if anyone else got this and what they think of it, because it seems kinda farfetched. Oh and if you want me to mail it to you, just ask. Oh yeah, its E-mail, not snail mail.

that's one of the more common forms of chain letters. different variations include: -baking companies asking you to spread the word about a mistake, and giving you money for each person you send the letter to. -sick children dying in the hospital and for every time you forward the letter a big company will donate 5 cents to getting the kid some new eyeballs. -the one you recieved. -the post office is going to start charging for each email sent, and as long as you pass along the chain letter they'll give you some money to help reimburse the costs of email in the future
if you go to any site that databases and researches spam, do a google search to find some of them, then you'll see that these forms of chain letter are in their top ten of most annoying and most commonly sent.
