I went to New York City over the weekend for the first time. It was nuts. Expensive, high fashion, FAO Swartz floor keyboard, lots of drinking and overpriced beer, you name it. Who else has been there before? I spent the most money ever on a lunch, $55 for sushi and tea.

I haven't been in NYC since I was around 10. I really want to head out there now to check out the night life. But damn dude, $55 for sushi and tea? That's unreal

I think I've been there, but that was in like grade 2 and I was only 7, so I don't remember much. In fact... I can't really remember a thing we did there at all, come to think of it.

Nope, never been.
The farthest North I've been is Nashville, TN.

The platter was 6 pieces *it was $4 per piece a la cart* and two rolls *about $8-9 per* and 5.00 for a pot of mad tea + tax and tip

Expensive Japanese restaurants usually = good Japanese food. There's a huge difference between good and crappy sushi. Seriously. Also, there're some Japanese restaurants that use real crab meat in their california rolls (and cones) instead of that fake imitation fish stuff, which is usually godly.

Yes my california roll consided of REAL crabmeat and avacado. It was AMAZING that they did that. I had never seen real crabmeat in one before.

Some guy was talking to my japanese friend about a restaurant called Mandarin. He was asking him why there were two sections for chicken wings. My japanese friend laughed and told him the other section must have been cat legs. The guy almost lost it but his face expression was priceless. ;D
