In Georgia it's 13. Well that's not the OFFICIAL driving , but it seams like the majority of the 14 year olds here drive.

....you can get your license when you're 14? Wow... Nah, I never said anything about licenses, just driving. And SMD, I don't drive, but I do know how, so I could if necessary. But i'm pretty short so it wouldn't take a dumbass to see I'm underage.

We all know that Mass drivers are the worst ones out there. Yup, and I'm one of them. Yes, you're right. But it's not really just the people's fault.. It's also the government. The roads in Massachusetts are TERRIBLE! Especially on the bridge to the left of the Fleet Center in Downtown, dont you agree Sokar? You guys wont believe this! The government is now trying to pass a law making the massachusetts driving age 18!! Now that is going a little too far

That isn't so bad, IMO. There are greater problems out there when it comes to age limits.
Here is my proposal:
Eliminate the drinking age. Do you know how much good that would do for the U.S. culture? In order to have the benefits outweigh the costs, the following conditions must hold true:
1] Eliminate the drinking age in its entirety. Not 18, not 14, get rid of it.
2] Incorporate alcohol drinking into the family structure. Raise kids as young as 6 on drinking wine, so that drinking becomes a part of the American culture, not vice versa.
3] Stop all forms of alcohol education outside of the home (for examples, in schools). The moment you start lecturing students about "bad" things, alcohol will no longer be an inherent part of culture--it will be an obscure mystery that young people will try to solve.
4] And most importantly (and I want to see this done even if the age limit remains 21), crack down on advertisement firms of premium name alcohol products. Advertisers are subverting American culture in order to pocket additional money: they create a false sense of what life should be like, and that those who don't follow their "gameplan" are insignificant. Advertisers of alcohol firms are despots that value income over life. We need to regulate the advertising.
Why don't people like this idea? Because most Americans are short-minded and neglect the benefits of future generations. Also, politicians receive a hell lot of money from alcohol firms, and money runs this country.
I am so ultra passionate about this topic, I would even start a whole new thread for it. Should the drinking age be eliminated? With the above conditions being carried out as well, I say 'yes.'
