[glow=navy,2,300]I went last year when I was 15, but I don't think that I will go this year. I like getting the free candy and making things burn in the road. But its no fun causing trouble around here on halloween anymore because the cops are around here everywhere now...
BTW, how did a picture thread turn into a "What do you do on Halloween" thread?[/glow]

Speaking of cops infesting neighborhoods, me and my friends got together at my house to play videogames (mainly SC2) recently. 4 of us went out on the premise of "scaring old people by being under 30 years of age after eight o'clock P.M.". The other guy stood behind and played through most of my second cycle of Disgaea. While we were walking, we went past some house that had been seriously TP'ed/egged. We decided not to stick around. Eventually, we got back to my house, but there was a cop right outside my nrighbors house. He came over and asked us what we were doing there. Much to my chagrin my friend said "Scaring old people". I quickly replied by saying "I live right there". He decided to cal my bluff and asked me to get my parents. However, I wasn't bluffig, so I did just that. My parents come out and the cop tells them that me and my friends had been going around looking in peoples windows the past few weeks. My neighboor -jackass- walks out of his house, points at us and says "the're the ones". We ended up having to call all my friends parents to telkl the cop we weren't even there at those times. It ended up being this guy I know who has this annoying habbit of calling me gay then running away when I start to walk over. Also, there have been lots of armed robberies, killings, and vandalism in my neighboorhood lately. And this is a neighboorhood where peoples kids get new mustangs every year, not some ghetto. I'm sure we'll have a decrease in those pesky TOTers, son at least something good has come of it.

whats wrong with detroit?? .....come on i live in canada... Well, lets just say that a few people die each DAY from gang wars, drive bys, beatings stuff like that. Seeing "bodies found in dumpster behind k-mart" isnt that big of a shocker to see on the news, stuff like that happens all the time.

Yeah, its pretty sad to hear about, you think to yourself "it cant be that bad" but when you go there for a concert (personal experience) and a bunch of hobo's try to lead you and your friends into a back alley to "check" somethinh out...you know that place is just plain crazy...

Yeah, they like to bug you for money a lot too. I never give them any, and SNK was telling me yesterday about his experience with a recent hobo he ran into...

Peoplewise, the boston area is pretty clean

Peoplewise, the boston area is pretty clean Detroit is pretty much as ghetto as they come. You can tell when you reach the really bad area's when you see that everyhouse has bars on the window's and doors to keep people from breaking in. And when you go down there to "buy" you'll see guys chilling on there front porches with AK 47's and shit like that. Its crazy down there, and you gotta have a lot of balls walk around in that type of area...

Heh, in Houston even in the "ghetto" (kinda sad excuse for one if you ask me) all the "gangstas" are wannabes. We just have to deal with muggers and out of hand parties.
