[glow=navy,2,300]I have two main things in my life. Nintendo and Sports. I don't play sports as much as I used to but I watch them all the time. I follow Hockey, baseball and football heavily. So far, I have watched all of the baseball playoff games this season except for the very first one for 2 reasons: it was on durring school and it wasn't on any channels here.
Sorry crono, but I hate watching basketball (even though I sort of follow it) and I hate the Lakers even more. Hopefully Kobe Bryant gets put in jail for rape.[/glow]

Lol 8 second apart ;D. I'm with you on baseball, just boring for me, but hey! Some people would say the same about football, baseball, and hockey. The Kobe thing is a shame, don't understand why people do such stupid things.... Oh well, we'll never be devoid of such things... Sadly...

I don't know the whole story, but it seems to me that that is kind of harsh when he didn't even mean to kill him.[/glow]

I hope they wipe the floor with the yankees and go against and beat the cubs or mariners to win the world series for the first time in ages. I dont believe in the curse! Sorry man, but the Red Sox have almost no chance:P, we have no bullpen and that's what will kill us, the Yankees are almost perfect, and their pitching is just crazy. Don't get me wrong, I'm rooting for Red Sox too, and I want us to face the Cubs cause we have a similar and intertwined history. |

True, true. But if we do miraculously win against the Yankees, we might go against the cubs. Winning against them would be like a flashback since we won the last game of the world series way back then against the cubs. If the Pats can win the superbowl, the Sox can win the World Series

It's not Mariners, it's Marlins. Wrong side of the U.S. lol... DANGIT stupid Marlins eliminated the Giants  I would be rooting for the Giants but nooooo. Last night I was rooting for the Red Sox. Good thing they beat the A's. I hate them. Boy that last strike was great! But now I'm rooting for the Marlins. I don't care about the Yankees or Red Sox (doesn't matter who wins...). I just don't want the stupid Cubs to get to the World Series. GRRRRR Braves shoulda won!!!!!!!! I watch football too, whenever I can. Niners all the way baby! |

Woops, good point. I'm the opposite, I dont care if either the Marlins or Cubs win  . Do you know when the first games of the semi-finals start? I'm hearing many different times like tommorrow, thursday, and next week. I want to know!

The Marlins and Cubs are playing right now.
It's tied, bottom of the 6th (score is 6-6).
I'm not sure when the Yankees and Red Sox are playing. Probably tomorrow or Thursday.

Damn it! The Cubs lost a close one. But they have Wood and Prior pitching back to back the next 2 games.
Anyway, yeah I like sports a lot, I'll talk sports with anyone on most sports. A little info about my fav. sports teams:
Pro Football: Packers, Bears
College Football: Nebraska, Oklahoma, Notre Dame
Pro Basketball: not that big of a fan, NJ Nets prolly
College Basketball: Creighton Bluejays (my school)
Pro Baseball: Cubs, Yankees
College Baseball: Nebraska
