Are there any Yankees fans here? Meh. World Series starts tomorrow. Does anyone know the pitching rotation. Marlins must win. Stupid Yankees have enough rings as is and they're just bought talent. Stupid Yankees and there $180 mil payroll |

1. Yankees are probably going to mop the floor with the Marlins, I'm not saying that the Marlins are bad or anything... But the Yankees just seem to always pull it out in the end. 2. Not even going to watch World Series... 3. Errrr... If I were that kid's parents I'd be ashamed of myself... But actually I think Manny gave a pitcher for the Yankees the finger when they intentionally walked him. This kid probably saw that and thought it was cool . 4. Manny is THE WORST role model I have ever seen. 5. The Yankees can be the sole explaination of why baseball is a stupid sport at times... $180 million a year to throw around... It's no wonder they've won 26 times, they can replace Clemens next year with anyone they want pretty much... And this is why football is the best sport, because there is a salary CAP, and that's why you don't see the same team win 26 times... I'm suprised the A's make it to the playoff every year... their budget is $40-50 million a year  . |

4) I know. "I keep my eye on the ball and then I hit the ball" is the famous quote of the post season from him. He has such a heavy accent, it's hard to believe he was born and raised in the Bronx. He gets easily angered and at times gets cocky when the Sox are up in points. He's an awesome player though, you can't deny that
5) Well you have to give them some credit. You can't be ignorant to the fact that they earned all the money they have. |

Just to let you guys know, the Marlins have beat the Yanks a few times in Interleague play. I will admit it is going to be quite differcult for the Fish to beat them, but isn't that what the WS is all about? We can do it!

I'm not really a baseball fan of any time... but its really annoying to see people bash the yankees purely because they get money... i mean the reason they get the money is because they did well in EARLIER years... they didn't just APPEAR with $200 mil a year, they grew up to it. and about the kid: ok... that is so STAGED, no 4-year-old is gonna see manny give the finger and then think its cool and copy it... NO, people went, hey, wouldn't it be funny if we took a pic of him giving the finger to the yankees? and they did it.  ;D, and it was good for quick laughs. |

I don't purely hate the Yankees because they have a lot of money. I hate them because most of them are pure assholes with terrible attitudes, also they are cocky.. during game 7 vs. Sox Derek Jeter said to Aaron Boone when they were down 4-1 "Don't worry... The ghost will come." Of course I can't hate Jeter... He is one the guys in the Yanks with a good attitude and has respect for the Sox and all the teams alike, and also he is one of the greatest hitters of all-time.
