Hey guys, I was just wondering if u were keeping up with the mlb playoffs. Right now the 5 game series between the boston red sox and the new york yankees is going on and the victory of that would go off to the world series to face the marlins or the cubs. Im watching the first game with the soxs and the yankees and its an hour in and the score is 0-0 and yankees are up at bat. Yankees have 1 man on 1st base and they have 1 out and its the secend inning. GO RED SOX ;D!!!!! Red sox have a huge disadvantage because pedro isnt there and wakefield is pitcher and he is the worst pitcher that ive seen for a while

Yeah, I'm a casual Yankees fan and a huge Cubs fan. Cubs are up 8-0 right now! Mark Prior for governor of Califorinia! Recall Arnold!
Kerry Wood is coming up next in the rotation, so I'm still feeling confident

Nice the record is now 4-0 sox in the 5th inning but with the yankees, you never know what will happen.

Both the Yankees and Red Sox have great offense, and the Cubs and Marlins have great young pitching, so I think this year's World Series will be interesting.
And it's a Chicago rout!!!!!!!!!! 12-3

And it's a Chicago rout!!!!!!!!!! 12-3 True, but the Sox pitching is going to kill them... And the Yankees aren't too hot right now, so I'm leaning toward the Sox as the team I think will win since they have the momentum after winning last night and that awesome come back... The Yankees don't have much momentum at all....

Do you know if the two Yankees are going to be charged with assault?
Sometimes, people go too far. Baseball is supposed to be for entertainment, and the rivalry is getting too much. Some players should learn that there are kids out there that look up to them and should set an example, not start fights.
And I thought the Giants-Dodgers rivalry was bad...

Are you talking about how they beat up a Boston groundskeeper that entered the bullpen looking for a fight?
If anyone should be suspended or fined it should be that dirtball Pedro Martinez for throwing a 72 year old man down on the ground.
Cubbies lost tonight, but the pitching rotation is Prior in Game 6 and Wood in Game 7, if necessary. At least the Cubs will get to close out the series in Chicago.

If you actually looked Zimmer charged with his hands raised. Now if your Pedro what would you do? Let a 72 year old man attack you? And don't say "get out of the way" because it happened to fast for him to react that way. And I don't know if Pedro said something to make Zimmer charge but he still charged and his age doesn't excuse him for that. nough said. If anyone should be suspended it should be that asshole Garcia, he's an idiot... He slid into Walker and he gave that groundskeeper marks on his back and he was punching him... He was totally out of line and he knows it. I hope he hurt himself, he deserves it. And also, Pedro pointed to his head (dumb thing to do), supposedly saying "I'll hit you in the head too" to Posada, but I don't think he'd say that... He probably said that Posada's crazy for thinking he'd intentionally hit Garcia for no reason.. And Manny is still an idiot because that pitch was high but not close enough to his head... But you never know, Clemens has been known to throw shit at people (throwing broken bat at Piazza in World Series) and his attitude is horrible... I personally believe the Yankees were more out of line than the Sox,

Now if your Pedro what would you do? Let a 72 year old man attack you? And don't say "get out of the way" because it happened to fast for him to react that way. I think this is bullshit. You don't throw an old man down on the ground, regardless if he threw a weak grandpa slap at you. When you look at that, Pedro grabbed Zimmer's head and purposely threw him to the ground. It would be one thing if he pushed or shoved him a way, but throwing him to the ground? Give me a break. Last time I checked, sliding into someone is a legal and smart play in baseball, as it often prevents a double play. Saying he did it to purposely hurt Walker is irrelevant. It's legal, and Walker should be fine. As for punching the groundskeeper, I agree that he was out of line and should be fined for that. No, he clearly was making a threat to hit him in the head. You could tell be the expression of smugness and agression on his face. I totally agree with you here. Clemens is as big of an asshole as Pedro. But that pitch was no where close to hitting Manny. That's just the way Clemens pitches, he owns the plate.

I know he shouldn't have thrown him to the ground like that but that still doesn't excuse Zimmer for charges, no matter what Pedro said.
And sliding is legitament (sp?) but the way he did it...
Pedro may have said that or not, I haven't seen any proof but the pointing to his head, they didn't actually HEAR him say that either.
Well, it's over now, we should just put it behind us, know baseball can get really stupid, and just keep playing.
