They started a D and D thing at the local cardshop. Even if I didn't work on sundays, I still would not play with them.

No, I just find them too annoying.

[glow=navy,2,300]Nope, never played any of them. The only collectible card games I have ever played was a WWE one and a baseball one (but those weren't like RPG ones).[/glow]

-___- So many haters...
I play all of the White Wolf games, some AD&D, and the occasional Call of Cthulhu.

I don't play any...
I don't think EVERYONE who plays them is a pathetic nerd stuck in their parent's basement though....

Yay! Im glad to see im not the only one. May I ask why some find them to be so bad? They just don't appeal to me... I'd rather play cards... or a board game... or go online, or play outside, or video games, or watch T.V., or eat, or sleep... any number of things

I don't play D&D not because I hate it, but because I've actually never tried it. It takes a lot of time to learn all the rules, each rule book is really thick. I might eventually try it but I'm not looking to dedicate too much of my time in learning the tools of trade right now.

Same here. Too complicated. Somebody once tried to get me into Warhammer (I know, it's different, but still) I couldn't stand all the rules. If my riflemen shoot you, you're dead. It's not time to pull out the measuring stick and see if a bullet can fly two feet.

D&D is way too complicated for my blood...200 some odd pages of rules makes my head spin . I do play Mage Knight however, not often but every once in a while... MK has like a 20 page rulebook and only takes an hour to play one game, it's simple and fun.

I play Vampire: The Masquerade, and DnD, and if you really wanna count it I've played M:tG for 8 years (not hardcore player though).
I really don't know how you can say the games are too complicated to learn, especially DnD. It takes all of 10-15 minutes to learn the absoultely essential basics of DnD (especially in 3d edition) like combat, skills, etc, and everything else you just pick up as you play from the other, more experienced players and the Game/Dungeon Master.
